I have a technote for the Palm forum on this very subject which is in final review in QA. However, please send mail to me directly (Palmtech) with details about your specific configuration: Your COM ports and interrupts, and what equipment, including mouse, fax, modem, CD, etc. are using them.

MOST of the time a connection problem is encountered, the chosen COM port is actually dedicated to something else or not implemented.
