I received the Serial cable and find that it has a female 9-pin
modem end. Even with an adapter it ends up with a female
socket , All my modems also have a female socket. So I bought a gender changer. OK now I can plug into my modem.
However when I try to access AOL the sofware does not seem
to te modem. I can see the SD light flicker but no communications. I am using a external 2400 baud, Hayes clone modem that works with everything else.
What do you suggest!
