The adaptor Rat Shack sells you is an quasi-universal adaptor. I have
it, it works fine, but it does limit portability a bit :-)

Seriously, I have it plugged into my powerstrip in my office, and when
I'm working at my desk, I have it plugged in. My batteries last eons
that way, especially since that's the only time when I use the serial
port. (the Serial Port sucks a lot of juice, so if you can be plugged
in when you're plugged in, it's better)

Now, if only I could find one of those old-fashioned calculator
stands... you can't find those things anymore...
