I bought mine for $99.99 about two months ago from Radio Shack.
The problem is finding them. I called a local store and asked
them to do a district search on their POS system. This checked
in-stocks on about 30 stores in the area saving a great deal of
time. When I wanted a second Zoomer (for my wife) I called a
district office and they did a regional search. Be aware that
if you can find one it will probably be a unit that was returned
defective or a broken display unit that was sent in for repair.
This is the case for the two units I bought. They were in like
new condition and I have had no problems. Not encouraging is that
I live in the Dallas Fort Worth area and there are probably more
than a 100 stores in the metro area (all searched) and my second
unit had to be transfered in from Oklohoma. If you can find one the
price can't be beat and based on what your saying they may have
been marked down another $10 bucks. I suspect some Zoomers got
bought by store employees.
