<< I have been experimenting with using Graffiti without the window, and
found that the "dot" attention signal to get punctuation is also
accomplished with a left - to - right horizontal stroke.
After doing this, a period is made by drawing a tiny circle. >>
I find it much easier to make periods by drawing two horizontal
left-right strokes.
Put the pen down, drag it left, then drag it right, then lift the pen.
Again, put the pen down, drag it left, then right, then lift it.
The result is a period.
