Permanent Sram card

The manual for the Zoomer states that you should take the ram card out =
when not using it. Can someone give me a hint on what problems I can =
expect if I keep my 2Mb sram card in the zoomer at all times? (after =
all, I have no use for the plastic card that came with the zoomer).
Will the zoomer loose battery faster. Will the card?
