Running GeoComm on the Zoomer works fine. It's pretty neat actually.
You see the first 40 columns, and use the joy-pad to move to see the
other 40 columns. So it's a bit of continual shifting left and right
to read the screen.

The VT100 emulation of GeoComm is not too crash hot though. It's not
bad, but an application like Lynx, a www browser, really messes
things up. And it would be handy if it was landscape.

Also note that Graffiti does not work in the main window, so you must
use the pop-up box. No big drama.

Also - often you'll need to send control characters to applications
(eg CTRL-X, CTRL-V, CTRL-R). There's no way to send control
characters with Graffiti, so you must set up macros containing just
the command to send the character you want. (I think it's SEND ^X
etc). Cursor movements would get a bit cumbersome, so learn keyboard
shortcuts (eg j and k for up and down for unix apps)

Interestingly, GeoComm lets you quit the application. There is a
small bar in the file menu which lets you quit.

Has anyone got a faster pcmcia modem or combination modem/ram card
working with the Zoomer? Has anyone got Fax9000 working on it?

Keith.
