using Megahertz modem w/Zoomer

Hello all,

I'm a new Zoomer user trying in vain to get my Zoomer to work with my =
modem. If anyone can help I'd appreciate it.

I have a 14.4kps Megahertz XJ1144 modem. When I insert the card in the =
Zoomer it responds: "The card you just inserted is not one this unit can =
support." My suspicion was that the PCMCIA driver needed to be updated. =
I found an updated PSERIAL.GEO somewhere on the net. The instructions =
from GeoWorks said to place it in B:\GEOWORKS\SYSTEM\PCMCIA. Well, I =
try to create this directory and File Manager keeps complaining that the =
directory already exists. It doesn't on B:, just on SYS: but still =
won't let me create it. Nor will it let me copy PSERIAL.GEO to =
\GEOWORKS\SYSTEM\PCMCIA. Anyone know how to do this? Or should I ask =
is it possible to use the Megahertz modem with the Zoomer at all?

While I'm on the subject, are there any good terminal communications =
packages for the Zoomer?

Thanks for all responses!

Steve
