Subject: Running Zoomer Apps under Ensemble?

Daniel Kim recently posted a note about running Zoomer Apps under Ensemble
2.01 on his PC.

Daniel, you copied your Zoomer's \SYSTEM\*.* files into your
C:\GEOS20\SYSTEM\ subdirectory. Then how did you start your apps? I got
mine to show the Z's preferences selections stuff, but I can't see the apps
anywhere? Any ideas?

Thanks,

Hi

I also copied the desired apps to my desktop system (into WORLD). They
worked just fine.

n.b. for those used to Windows: The icons in File Manager represent
ACTUAL FILES, not launchers for programs, as in Win. Moving these icons
will move the APP-NAME.GEO file itself, allowing it to launch.

I wonder if anyone can tell if GeoPublish can be used as a platform to
run Zoomer apps in the same way, of if there are additional libraries
missing to prevent this?

p.s. I was able to recover usable data from my partially-trashed
database and reconstruct it (by hand).
