Janc,

Why are you re-inventing the wheel here? These and many other options
(including the ability to run MORE than TWO applications at the same
time) can be found in the documentation for EXPERT PLUS mode, which can
be found in the Zoomer archives. A good starting place for finding this
and other stuff is to look in http://www.grot.com/zoomer/, which is
Brian Smithson's Zoomer Website.

In addition, Nathan Fiedler has written an excellent application that
automates and documents all of these different options-- check out his
home page at http://members.aol.com/nfiedler/index.html

No disrespect intended, but there's no reason to figure all of this out
yourself...

I have a Zoomer on which I can run about 6 different applications at
once, with full windowing a'la Motif, with iconified applications and
full multitasking. I routinely use it to edit text files (which I use
as a logbook), reconfigure routers (with a terminal application) and
other things. There's an on-screen digital clock, and I have full
connectivity with my PC, as well as my UNIX network. It's all made
possible by GEOS-- which has gotta be the most misunderstood OS there is
(even by its owners.)

anything
