Connecting Zoomer to Geopublish

How do I use geopublish to connect my zoomer to my desktop, I have tired
of Zdos for backups and uploads so I downloaded the shareware version of
geopublish but I cant seem to get it to link up properly, normaly when I
use the same pc , zoomer and cable with zdos it works fine (same with the
graffiti install) but with geopublish it does not seem to connect it looks
like geopublish is sending junk to my zoomer instid of connecting.
