The OmniGo is based on the GEOS operating system. GEOS runs on top of DOS. GEOS basically provides it's own OS functionality, except for certain specific functions, such as file system. Thus, GEOS uses the DOS "FAT" file system... There is no way (that I know of... :>) to get to DOS on the OG, but it is there...
