Jake,

Here's a short course in calculating power:

Power (Watts) = Potential (Volts) * Current (Amps)

The "mW" is an abbreviation for milliwatts or thousandths of a watt
(10^-3 Watts). In this example, you have a 3V adapter that supplies
200mA. To calculate the power:

Power = 3V * 200mA = 600mW

As you can see, you're gonna have problems powering your 700mW modem
with this adapter!
