Hi, Jeff

First of all, you have been very helpful with plenty of suggestions on Memory
Cards to Modems. Thanks for that.

I still have that mail from a a Tumaso Munari from Italy. He says that all you need to
do to run under DOS mode is to comment out the lines that start GEOS from your AUTOEXEC.BAT
file and load omniswp instead; using "omniswp i". So, GEOS is not started at all. [And I
assume that GEOS GUI basically runs on DOS-like operating system.]

And what you have mentioned sounds like "MS-DOS prompt under Windows 3.1" program. Is that
so ?

In summary, I understand GEOS to be very much like Windows3.1 which is just a GUI on top of
DOS. So, if you don't start GEOS, you are already in DOS or DOS compatible environment.
Because, I have seen Directories like A:\DOS and DOSROOM already existing on my OG.
Correct me if I am wrong.

And finally, How to get OGODOS or any similar programs, if they are REQUIRED ?

Thanks once again,

Hitesh

[P.S. I eventually plan to load Procomm Plus for DOS or other such program, how many of
its features like FAX/Remote Login/etc. etc. would work on OG ? ]
