I have been using the American equivalent of the Accucell, called the
Rayovac 'Renewable', a rechargeable Akaline, and it works very well; much
better than a NiCad. The charger unit and 4 cells cost under $20 US and
probably available in Malaysia. (about 25 recharges per cell).
