DOS terminal progs.

Hello everyone.

I seem to recollect Maciej saying he had no problems using Procomm Plus for
DOS on his ogo. Is it that Procomm Plus does not mess with the Ogo's DTR
line (so that it doesn't blank) because all the terminal programs I've come
across (for DOS) seem to tinker with the DTR ! Has anyone found any small
DOS based publicly avaialable programs that do the trick ?

Does anyone know of a DOS TSR that I can load to "hide" the DTR from
programs ? I know the programs I've tried work, because I can blindly type
ATDTxxxx and the modem dials!!!

I've even started looking at modifying code so that it doesn't yank the DTR!
I'm getting desparate for terminal software for my OGO!!! Could someone
please take pity on me (an all us netbound souls who need this unbilical cord)!

I can't wait for the day when I can use my OGO's TCP/IP protocol add-on
stack (like Windows' Trumpet) to dial up PPP, POP my mail, Surf the Web and
telnet into my shell account! Will this ever become possible or will HP
allow Microsoft to blow yet another fantastic product out of the water with
there "standards" (namely Windows CE) ? I'd like someone from HP to explain
the pityful offering of applications available for the Ogo. Is the Ogo being
downplayed as a serious PDA platform in favour of the 200LX etc. ?
Why not develop the Ogo to its full potential ? I've been an HP
fan(atic) for the past 8 years (I bought a 48SX in 1990, was a follower for
a few years before that). I can do things with my 48 that I can only dream
of with my Ogo (program-wise) and its "just" a calculator. The Ogo should
have at least come with a scripting/programming language built in... I'll
have to try my hand at coding for the Ogo (with the SDK or IZL)!! I've been
told it's difficult, but there is so much potential in this little Ogo of
mine! Reminds me of the little train that kept saying "I know I can .....I
know I can ....I know I can.........." Seems like the little train's
running out of steam!!!

Concerned.
