If there are experienced users out there who have successfully interfaced
their OmniGo 100/120 with the Mac using MacPCCOM, I could use some advice.
I have the necessary serial cable for the Mac plugged in to the modem
port. I launched MacPCCOM and ran the "Transfer" program on the OGO.
When I hit connect, I get the "connected" message on the OGO. However,
when I type "CO" in MacPCCOM, I get the following error message: "Unable
to connect - check cable & COMM parameters." I've tried typing CO first
before launching the transfer program on the OGO and I've tried all three
baud speeds. Can anyone provide me insight on how to make a successful
connection?
Also, can anyone give me insight on how to upload programs to my OGO?
What directory do I need to place the program in? Also, what filenames
belong to the common programs of the OGO so that I can download them as
back-up?
Thanks for your assistance.
