Hi there! I'm new to the OmniGO (only had it just over a week), and I
think it's really great. Before I found this mailing list, I had a look
for info on the internet, and found that it was possible to stop the
boot-up process after a cold boot by holding <C> pressing <N> then
<Return>, waiting 3 secs, then pressing <Control><C>. I'm sorry!!! WHAT
Control!!?? I'm not being remarkably stupid (am I?), but I don't have a
control button. I tried Shift, Alt & Fn but none worked. I'd be very
grateful if someone could mail me with the solution to this, and anyother
tricks/tips they have.

I purchased the HP serial link cable, so that I could connect to my humble
Atari, and when I do a test print, the computer receives everything fine,
but when I set the OmniGo to PC link, and send <ESC>AD! or any of the
other transfer commands, nothing happens! I got the Pocket Quicken from
Intuit yesterday, and used a friends PC to try to upload it, but that
didn't work either! It just said that it couldn't connect to the OmniGO.
I've been doing computing for about 10 years, so I know to check that it's
plugged in & in the correct port etc.... I noticed that when I run the
Serial Loop Back Test in the diagnostic menu, that it fails. That does
sound a bit suspect to me, so should I contact my supplier for a
replacement?

Sorry to go on, but I would appreciate any help with these, or just any
OmniGO hints/tips. Thank you all.
