I posted a list of parts and part numbers from the Shack to build the AC
adapter. After consulting with the designer, he has recommended a higher
amp rated AC converter.
I will go and exchange my 300mA 273-1662 for a 650mA or 1A converter.

I would definitely recommend the use of the RS 273-1663
converter... It's output stays comfortably at 3.0 volts (dc).
I would not like to feed a steady diet of 3.8 volts as is
the case with the 1Amp converter. Yuk!
