Ernest,

I found a WWW site that details the power drain of various
PCMCIA modems. The site also attempts to address
compatibility (although the OGO is not mentioned.)

I'm sure someone more in-tune with the OGO power
drain characteristics could estimate battery life for
using a low/mid/high drain modem.
