As far as I can remember, dLite *can* decompress data files on the fly (and from
a DOS perspective, .geo files are really "data" files, because they are handled
by Geos itself), but this requires the program opening the compressed file to be
compressed using dLite as well, in order to make the decompressor resident in
memory. Did you try to launch Geos from a dLite'd version of loader.exe? That
might do the trick.
