Omnigo and HP48 Cable

I have the HP 48GX connectivity kit and was wondering if there was a way to
adapt it for printing with the omnigo 100. The cables all fit, except for
the serial cable. If I add an adapter to turn the end of the cable into a
parallel cable, will it print?
