My question to the community is...

Is anyone out there using a real serial to parallel cable directly hooked to

a printer, and if so, are you experiencing the same things?

I've used a seriale cable with a serial to parralel converter and I have
exactly the same problem.

Besides, why the hell didn't HP include an option to print notes as plain text
in stead of graphics.

As far as I'm concerned the printing of the OGO is worthless!
