The only advantage the connectivity kit has over using just file transfer is
that you get a very limited PIM to use on your desktop. So you can enter
records for the notepad, appointment book, and phone book, and also import
and export data from these apps(in csv and dbf, etc.). The pim is very
rudimentory, though and has no security features, if that's at all important...
