There is a program called "ogftp", which allows you to transfer files from
a Unix box with a serial port to the OmniGo. I run Linux 2.0.0, and the
program compiled (and runs) flawlessly.

I believe I got it from one of the standard HP software webpages. If you
have problems finding it, let me know, and I'll place it on my ftp site
for you.

Special in the fact it uses that little square connector that I've never
seen anywhere but on HP palmtops (I believe it is the same cable that the
200LX uses, however).

I've been working on perl scripts that parse various information out of
the OmniGo's databases and compare it to .db files on my computer (I have
some X-toys that act as a PIM on my machine), but haven't had very good
luck yet. I've also spent very little time on it.
