Sorry if this is a duplicate - our email went down for 4hours today and lost
everything going out and in!

========================================

I bought one of the refurbished GRID SRAM cards from Direct Mobile. When I
go it yesterday, it had a battery already in it, as well as an extra one
separate. I put it in the ogo (correct orientation, thanks to this mailing
list!), when the ogo was off. I then turned it on, and it asked me if I
wanted to format it. I said yes, and it did. The problem is that it didn't
'take'. IOW, everytime I turn off the ogo, then on, it asks me if I want to
format it.

I remember seeing something similar to this on the mailing list. I seem to
recall that the solution was to remove the battery from the SRAM card for a
day, then retry it. Is that correct, or is there something else that I'm
doing wrong?

(Much later...)

So far I've tried taking the battery out of the SRAM card for a day, and
formating it in an HP 200lx. No luck so far. Interestingly enough, the HP
200lx could read the card fine after it had formatted it, and after the
omnigo had formatted it. Any ideas? In the HP 200lx, I just said 'format
a:', without any parameters. Is this correct, or is there another way to do it?
