infinite batteries?!

i have had my ogo for 2 weeks now, with fair usage (it's new, and i use
it every chance i get!). i'm using the batteries that came with it, and
the charge indicator has not moved from the completely full position. is
this normal? is my indicator malfunctioning? anybody else see the same
thing? thanks
