A friend of mine called the customer support number in the back of the
manual and they gave her the address to request the rebate
form. She bought hers about four days before the rebate started,
so she was feeling especially bad about it. I think she was going to
try for it anyway, but they want you to send in the original receipt,
so that makes it a bit stickier. I thought I'd read somewhere that
the rebate started in April -- was that perhaps a different rebate
or am I not remembering correctly?
