I have noticed on my OmniGo that the battery lifetime for lithium
batteries is about 2 weeks per set with mild usage. Is that what everyone
else is experiencing? I had thought that it should run for at least 4
weeks or so on a set. My experience with the 200LX was that a 6 to 8
weeks was pretty standard on a set of batteries.
To further complicate matters, I called HP Support this morning to see
what they have to say. The individual I talked with said that a month
should be typical and that I could send in the OmniGo to have them service
it. Now here's the catch - it will be 6 to 10 working days for them to
look at it. Am I being unreasonable to think that for this type of
product a wait of 2 weeks is unacceptable? Now I am faced with either
going broke on batteries or not having the product for a couple of weeks -
actually this not an option, since I could not survive without it. Any
comments or similar experiences?
