Yes, the Direct Mobile 1MB card comes labeled wrong. I explained this
several times to the guy there, and he said he would pass it along.
Other than that, my 1MB cards (I bought two) are working great. They
even maintained their data after having the internal battery removed and
taken out of the Ogo and sitting on a shelf for a few hours! (don't try
this at home, your mileage may vary)
By the way, Direct Mobile was EXTREMEMLY helpful about solving my
problems with the cards. I broke my ejector lever because I inserted it
wrong, and they replaced my Ogo with a brand new unit. It took a long
time only because the Saturday FedEx rush delivery that they promised me
showed up TOO EARLY and no one was in the office. I had to go out of town,
so it took a while to resolve, but through no fault of Direct Mobile.
Direct Mobile (at least their customer service people, Mike Hurley in
particular) did everything right to correct their mistake, including
rushing me a new unit before even getting my broken one back. (Mike
Hurley's at extension 19.)
Anyway it's all over now, and I'm very happy with Direct Mobile and their
1Mb cards.
