Connecting the OGO to COM 2 problems

I am trying to connect the OGO to my COM2. I have the adapter but I can =
not get the PC to recognize the OGO.
When I had an external modem, I used to disconnect it and the PC =
communicated with the OGO from Com 2.
Now with an internal modem, it will not recognize the OGO. I added to =
Windows 95 COM3 and COM4 and the system assigned new IRQ and addresses, =
but when I run the installer, it does not allow me to choose a port =
manually nor does it find the OGO automatically.
I unplugged the mouse (Com 1) and connected the OGO. After booting, =
Windows complained but I was able to remove Draw Draw my SRAM.
I did get a message that there is a problem with the OGO (I think it was =
the list of installed items) , and it re-built it. I could not access my =
OGO memory to check what is install on the maim memory.
Thanks
