Problems Installing Programs

I downloaded OmniCom, as well as a few programs for the Ogo. I followed the
installation instructions with these programs, but I can't get the programs
to show up on my home screen. OmniCom goes through its whole
"Downloading..." bit. Is there anything else I have to do to make the
programs show up?
