Anyone remember the days when Radio Shack had the AC supplies that
replaced the batteries? It had an AC going to a battery-like pack to
give the power required....I don't think it would be too hard to wire up
something of similar ilk. Take a plastic tube like a battery, strip a
universal adaptor of its plugs, hook one to the negative spring, and the
positive to the other cap. Give it 3V juice, and you are set. Any
takers on maybe HP manufacturing such a device? Anyone?
