In addition to Nate's geometry comment (simple is better) you should bear in
mind that on the desktop the user cand select various video resolutions AND
various text sizes. These settings will have an impact on how your UI looks
and if the user has set his/her resolution to 640x480 and selected large text
(preferences) or worse yet modified the .ini to a wierd default font your UI
can get to looking pretty awful pretty quick!
