Printing from PalmConnect

The very few problems reported regarding printing from PalmConnect seem to involve print spooling.

PalmConnect uses both real memory and disk space to print documents. Therefore you must ensure that there is sufficient of each available to print large files. If you have problems printing, consider the following:

Try printing a single or small number of pages. If that works, the problem lies in the printer spooling capabilities.
Check to see that you have sufficient real memory available for the spooler.
Check the memory setting in PalmConnect--Preferences--Computer. By setting the Memory to NONE in PalmConnect Preferences>Computer, you can force the printer spooler to use only disk space to buffer the printing. This is obviously slower, but it will suggest that you have insufficient real memory allocated.

Note: In the Print>Options dialog box you can select to Print To File. This feature is NOT implemented, and will cause the error: "SL-23 Couldn't load the printer port driver. Free up some memory....". You must print to a printer.
