After doing a bit of head scratching, I've come to the conclusion that
Ingenius cannot contractually distribute this software over the wire. So,
that may be a moot point.

In terms of your WinFax Pro 7 software, it may have installed a new
comm driver, replacing the standard Win95 one. Check your
windows/system dir for a file called "comm.drv". It should be
dated 7/11/95. There should also be 2 serial*.* files with the same
date. And verify from the control panel, system applet, that these
are the files being used.

I've had problems in the past with WinFax drivers conflicting with
other comm devices.
