Guilty...but only partially. I am an independent software developer and
have contracted with Ingenius to develop this product. I am not an
Ingenius employee. The X4W app is 2 parts: the receiver and
the client application. I wrote the client app and Ingenius wrote
the receiver. The receiver reads the com port, stores and archives the
quote data, and does some of the news archiving. The client app does
everything else. So, while I'm responsible for the client, I have
virtually no control or influence on the behavior of the receiver. I am
aware of some bugs in the equity processing and the software
downloading, but have not been able to cause Ingenius to fix the
problems. At least yet. I have not given up.
Ingenius has gone through a number of management changes
over the past year and they are still working on determining their
direction. Hopefully, they will find their direction and continue,
what I consider to be, and excellent data feed.

Version 1.0.2 began shipping last month. Not much new functionality,
but a number of bugs have been fixed.

There is a glaring bug in 1.0.1 and 1.0 in W95. Better upgrade.
Call Ingenius and get 1.0.2. If they won't give it to you, as a
registered Windows user, let me know. I'll do everything I can,
because I don't believe that users should have to pay more for
little more than bug fixes.
I would love to improve the product. Any and all ideas for
a better product will be appreciated.
Thanks and regards to all.
