I'm doing a little reasearch for myself.
I'm thinking about getting PRIMESTAR because of their "data services"
option. I called Ingenious/X*PRESS on the phone, and about all I could find
out was that they offered e-mail and newsgroups, but they are not an Internet
service provider. Their representative became quite confused when I started
asking questions about the Internet, and the types of service they provided.
What type of service(s) do they provide. It sounds like they just transmit
data via the satellite, and the subscriber is responsible for recovering the
data into some kind of useful format.
What is Ingenious/X*PRESS?
