This sounds similar to another PC card which is available in the SF Bay area.
This card, however, picks up the stock feed directly from the airwaves.
Near San Jose, the stock feed is transmitted as part of KICU channel 36.
It seems to me that the price for this card was quite a bit lower, though --
something like $150.
