A recent post wanted to know what PrimeStar is--
It is a DBS satellite service (direct to home)
Your large satellite dishes, typically about 10 feet or so in diameter are
C-Band (3-4GHz). DBS (Direct Broadcast Satellite) is at either 21 or 12 Ghz
which allows for the smaller dish size. It is available in many "test" markets
around the US. I believe the XPress service is on a sub-carrier of WTBS
(Ted Turner's superstation out of Atlanta) and a few other places.
