I remember the X*Press people telling me, when I ordered my box, 3 years ago,
that the box has to be tuned to one of three different frequencies, depending
on which cable system you're on. Therefore, if you take your box to a
different cable system (that also carries X*Press), you may have to get a new
crystal.

The crystal may be a standard plug-in thing that you might be able to order
from an electronics supplier. (The standard package is about 3/4" square and
about 1/4" thick, with two prongs spaced about 1/2" apart. You'll have to
open up the box to see whether there's anything like that in it--Ask a ham-
radio-type for help.) I think either X*Press or the cable company will be
willing to tell you the frequency it comes in on your cable system, and then
you can shop around by phone.

Let us know how this works out, and what it ends up costing.
