To run the MSDOS port, you need:

a) A multitasker. The code has no provisions for reading at the same time
as receiving. Windows, DesqView, or OS/2 should all work fine.
b) A FOSSIL driver. FOSSIL drivers take care of interrupt-driven I/O like
a real operating system would. You can get BNU170.ZIP from
wuarchive.wustl.edu in /mirrors/msdos/fossil.
c) A netnews interface, such as Snews or Waffle. The code just generates
netnews articles, and depends on something else, to be the client.
