I think the question Sean asked referred to people not having Xpress
hardware and software.
I have been wondering the same thing.
Is it possible to convert the cable signal to a digital raw data file on
a PC?

I assume it would require a combination of a tuner, ADC (analog to
digital converter), and a DSP (digital signal processor) on an interface
board or RS-232 connected box.
Once it was captured into a raw data file the processing should be easy
once the data format is determined.

Would it be possible for somebody in the know to generate a FAQ list?
I haven't been exposed to Xpress before this mailing list, and have been
getting bits and pieces of it from all of the email.
I think there are many more on the list in the same situation.
