would X*Press be upset if...

Would X*PRESS be upset (e.g. try to stop the activity, or sue, or whatever):

(1) if someone wrote and distributed a freeware program for viewing
X*Change news?

(2) if such a package was only available for platforms that X*Press
does not itself support?

(3) if someone published the X*Change data stream format (like, for instance,
published it on this mailing list)?

For purposes of this discussion, please assume that there is no intention
to distribute X*Change data beyond the scope of one's own cable TV subscription.
X*Change data is (for the most part, at least) copyrighted.

I'm interested in hearing anyone's opinions, but if you have any direct
information from X*Press, that would be most helpful.
