Today I again attempted to speak with someone at NEC about the bad
battery for my UL. Again they played "hot potato" however I eventually got
satisfaction! If anyone has a bad battery that they have not ripped open
then contact:

Be advised that I had to wait on hold for a good 20 min. before an actual
human would deign to speak with me. At any rate, Ms. Schoenberg is sending
a replacement battery express mail and I am to return the bad battery after
the new one arrives.
