then beeps once and goes no further, although Ctrl-Alt-Del
will "boot" it, clearing the last line and beeping again.
I haven't a clue as to what's wrong, but the little two chip
"D-handled" PC board in the corner opposite the battery seems
to be the only removeable part. Do you think this could
fix it? If so I would be interested in trying one if
you've got one from your parts bin.
