68-Pin Expansion Port -- Help!

I recently bought a (used) original ultralite model PC-17-02. My question
refers to the expansion port, listed in the specs sheet as "Laptop Ports: One
68-pin expansion port (FDD)." It seems to be a really odd, nonstandard
connector. NEC Wants ~$260 for a simple parellel port adaptor for it. I think
I could make the same cable for around $10, but need a source for the male
version of this connector.
DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE TO GET A 68-PIN MALE CONNECTOR THAT WILL INTERFACE
WITH THE ORIGINAL ULTRALITE'S 68-PIN EXPANSION PORT?
BTW I have a text file of the pinouts, but if anyone has a more graphical
representation, please tell me about that, also. (Or just where to start
counting, ie is pin 1 the upper left?)
Also, has anyoune else ever tryied making this cable and/or attach a
non-NEC floppy disk drive to this port?
Thank you in advance for any help on this subject.
