The UL LCD glass is expensive! According to NEC (508-635-4745)
in April 1993 the LCD glass (part# A73-190135-5) costs $612.
They also offer an exchange for your broken LCD plus $350.

It is fairly easy to replace. The flat flexible cable from the LCD
display might break near the hinge. The cable is integrated with the LCD.
