Rejuvenate UL battery?

My ultralite's battery went kaput. Kind of interesting -- pressing the ON switch
yielded a signal at 44Hz, which was picked up by my cordless phone. Anyway, it
no longer seems to hold a charge.

There was some discussion of methods of rejuvenating a UL battery a while back.
Does anybody have the details?

(Alternately, if anybody wants to pay $500 for a 2mb UL with a bad battery,
external floppy, case, homemade external regular battery pack, and Works 1.0 on
a card, send me email.)
