I don't know about critical files, but I find the following files to be
useful:

STACKER.COM
SCHECK.EXE
SSWAP.COM
SCREATE.SYS
SWAPMAP.COM
SCREATE.COM
SREMOVE.EXE
SCREXEC.EXE
SCREXEC2.EXE

I have my system set up with a 1.3MB stacker file and the rest uncompressed
disk space. I keep the STACKER files in the uncompressed boot drive. They
are all executable files and don't compress much, so I figure why skew the
compression ratio?

I don't have the NEC floppy drive, so it's easier for me keep the SCREATE
files on the silicon disk. I'm still tuning my setup and it helps to have
the programs available to reconfigure STACKER.

John
